This Time for Africa

Hey everyone! If you're reading this you probably know who I am and where I am going. However, if you don't my name is Sarah and I'm a sophomore at Messiah College and this is a blog about my study abroad experience. I've never been much of a blogger or journaler, but I want to be able to share my experiences with people and I figured this was the easiest way. While I'm abroad I'm going to try to blog a few times a week, but no promises. So now I guess I'll explain where I'm going. Right after the new year I will be embarking on the journey of a lifetime. I will be going to Kigali, Rwanda. At this point most people ask “Why Africa” so here’s the answer. When I was choosing where to study abroad it was always “where do I want to go” then I decided that the better question to ask was “where does God want me to go” and the answer was clear: Africa. So there it is, this trip isn’t just for me, but for for God and for Africa. I'm so excited to start this journey in just 16 short days (it seems like yesterday that I started the countdown from 66 days) and I can't wait to share it with everyone!
